Currently we have 2 RMR Trijicon fottprint plates in production:
for GSG 1911 and GSG 922 CA edition.
Please read to the end.
This plate does not fit any GSG 1911,
Please make sure there is no step-down behind the rear sight on your gun.
It doesn't fit the slide with a step down after the rear sight.
It is only good for GSG 1911/922 with a straight slide.
They both have the same profile of the slide.
We can not guarantee that it would fit any other 1911.
see the pic below, this plate doesn't fit this type of dovetail !!
Ask questions if you are unsure of whether it is a fit for your gun.
The plate was tested on GSG 1911 and GSG 922 CA version
May fit other models of GSG guns with Novak cutouts dovetail
without a step down behind the rear Iron Sight.
Look at yours to make sure.
May require some additional fitting with a needle file.
Don't overdo it!
An important note.
There are concerns in the GSG CA Community
that the .22 caliber has FTE problem,
if you use red dot plates, so we've addressed that.
Works well with High-Velocity rounds
(we tested it with Fiocchi and CCI)
Low-velocity rounds have cycling problems because of an increase in the slide weight.
Therefore, the plate is made of an ultra light / strong polymer material. (not metal)
Which is a lot easier to do the fitting with a needle file.
We ran about a hundred rounds of Fiocchi and not a single jam

Remove the rear sight on your gun and replace it with our mount
in order to mount your Trijicon RMR red dot.
You can take our mount off and replace your rear sight at any time. Mounting hardware included.
Installation Instructions
- Remove the rear sight*
- Install the Sight Mount in the dovetail
- Tighten set screw (if applicable)
- Place the red dot sight on the Sight Mount
(placing a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the sight mount
will make for easier removal and will keep Loctite off of the red dot sight. This is up to you)
- Apply blue Loctite to the provided mounting screws
You can use a hammer with protective tape to put the plate instead of the iron sight
but we do strongly recommend using a special
device something like this (it will preserve the integrity of the slide)
if you don't have it you can borrow it from a local gunsmith
This is a 3D part.
If you are looking for something perfectly smooth this is not the product for you,
because a perfectly smooth plate would be an injection molded plastic part.
It is way more expensive in production. Although the 3D printer cost is not cheap either.
The product availability is based on the fact, that many .22 CA *roster guns*
will never have an *optics-ready* option.
We don't know when it will change.
However, It does its job, but doesn’t look beautiful. May have rough edges.
You may need to smooth the edges with a needle file.
Although in most cases you don't have to.
It will work regardless of the looks.

We have discovered that GSG 1911 CA pistol has a small step down in the back
so the current plate is not going to fit
but we're working on the modified version of the plate for this gun
will announce it a few weeks from now
It will be a separate listing
It is not a big as on other 1911s, but still needs adjustment.
So bear with us :)
